Target 2020 awards
West Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards 2018
The Target 2020 project was recognised and Commended by the West Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards in the category of Large Scale Project, specifically for the work it is doing amongst SMEs in Gloucestershire to lower carbon emissions, lower energy consumption and improve business productivity across the region.
2012 - 2015 awards
Powys Business Awards (finalist)
The Powys Business Awards, organised by Mid Wales Manufacturing Group, recognise businesses with excellent and outstanding achievement in all aspects of their organisation. This includes strong growth, innovation and leadership as well as a clear vision. Severn Wye was a finalist in the Charity Category recognising our contribution to the local economy, energy awareness and tackling fuel poverty.
Wales Green Energy Awards (finalist)
The Wales Green Energy Awards recognise, celebrate and reward achievement and excellence in the renewable energy sector. Severn Wye were finalists in the Outstanding Advocate Award (Organisation). This award is aimed at an organisation that has passionately promoted the merits of renewable energy in Wales and successfully changed the nature of the debate. They will also have championed Wales as a potential leader in the renewable energy sector. Alternatively, this could be an organisation that has ensured businesses in other parts of the UK are aware of Wales' strengths - helping to attract new investment and jobs.
2nd place West Midlands Green Deal Advisor of the Year
This award recognises the efforts of an individual advisor in the region who has provided excellent customer service, and demonstrated success in advising clients on improvements, and was awarded to Severn Wye's Matt Williams.
West Midlands Energy Efficiency Champion
Awarded to the individual who is most deserving of recognition within their geographical region for their contribution to the field of energy efficiency awareness and education. Severn Wye's Matt Williams was awarded 2nd place.
STEM Event of the Year
Your Green Future was awarded STEM Event of the Year for Gloucestershire, Bath and Bristol regions. This was awarded by the STEM Ambassador Scheme funded by the Business, Innovation and Skills Council, and was presented 'to recognise its unique place as a highlight of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) engagement calendar in the region.
Community Energy Awards
Severn Wye was shortlisted in the 'Energy Reduction Project of the Year' for both our 'Energy Detectives' and 'E-SEAP' projects.
West Midlands Green Deal Advisor of the Year
This award recognises the efforts of an individual advisor in the region who has provided excellent customer service and demonstrated success in advising clients on improvements, and was awarded to Severn Wye's Matt Williams.
National Green Deal Advisor of the Year
Severn Wye's Matt Williams was the first ever Green Deal Advisor of the year. This award recognises the efforts of an individual advisor who has provided excellent customer service and demonstrated success in advising clients on improvements.
Fellowship - Institute for the Development of Energy Assessment
Only the 5th person to be awarded this honour Matt Williams was recognised for his services to the institute and the industry.
European Commissions’ ManagEnergy Local Energy Action Award - Local Energy Action
Ashden Award for Reducing Fuel Poverty finalist
AshdenUK Outstanding Achievement Award for Reducing Fuel Poverty, funded by the Coutts Foundation. This award was only open to UK Ashden Award winners who won before 2013 and have directly delivered energy and financial savings for households in fuel poverty. We were a finalist for the award for Warm and Well. We also received a £1,000 grant.

NEA Footprint Award
Young Energy People was congratulated for its achievements in raising awareness about energy issues and how individuals can manage energy use, reduce consumption and fight fuel poverty.
European Commissions’ ManagEnergy Local Energy Action Award - best local energy initiative
Winning top prize from a possible 58 nominated projects, the Energy Neighbourhood initiative was presented with the ManagEnergy award as the best example of good practice in helping deliver local sustainable energy commitments.
2004 - 2007 awards
Environmental Business Award Finalist
Presented to Severn Wye on their achievements in this highly competitive category that awards businesses for their achievements in providing environmentally conscious services and practices.
Awarded for Young Energy People. A programme that skills students in energy surveying, management and communications to help everyone in their schools take action to improve their daily energy management processes. Judges were impressed with the effectiveness of the programme in delivering transferable skills to young people and for its energy saving achievements.
South – West Home Energy Conservation Association (HECA) Forum Award
Awarded for services and achievements in advice and grants provision that directly assisted in improving sustainability and comfort in thousands of homes.

Certified Quality management system - ISO 9001:2008
Severn Wye achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in June 2014. This involved setting up quality management systems and ongoing procedures and audits to check these are followed. At Severn Wye we continually strive to improve our quality management system, placing particular emphasis on client satisfaction.
Certified Environmental management system - ISO 14001:2004
The core to achieving our ISO 14001 certification has been implementing Severn Wye's Environmental Objectives which include, reducing CO2 emissions and consumption of natural resources and improving waste management practices. We achieve our objectives in variety of ways, for example; reducing our electricty and gas consumption while at the same time making our offices more comfortable places to work
Gloucestershire Target 2020 Project
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Herefordshire Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) supports SMEs to deliver cost savings to the business through energy, waste and water efficiency.
